Brief Biography

Jim West joined the faculty at Baylor University in 2011. Professor West received his BA from The University of Denver in 1987, an M.A. in Economics from The University of Michigan in 1989, and a Ph.D. in Economics from The University of Michigan in 1994 in the fields of public finance and econometrics. He previously taught at the US Air Force Academy from 1997 - 2011 and Seattle University from 1994 - 1997. He specializes in the fields of economics of education, public economics, and applied econometrics.
