The 90s was a hellish decade: Afghanistan, Bosnia, Burma, Chechnya, Kosovo, Rwanda, Somalia . . . Actually, in many ways it was a vile, evil century: the Armenians, Verdun, gulags, the Final Solution, the Great Leap Forward, Year Zero, ethnic cleansing . . . and now we are in the 21st Century - I could cry. This site is dedicated to those who lived through these whirlwinds, to the memory of those who died, and to the hope of those who still struggle.
