U.S. Government Statistics
The United States government collects and publishes a large amount of statistical information covering business and industries. Federal depository libraries collect this information and make it available to all patrons. Your library is a federal depository library if you see the red, white and blue eagle decal displayed on the front door and on the shelves housing the government publications.
Basic compilations of government statistics provide many statistics related to business, industry, consumers and many other areas of everyday life. Some of the titles listed below are good places to start looking for statistics:
